It’s a common misconception that all fats are bad for you. In reality, many healthy fat foods can help you lose weight and improve your overall health.

One healthy fat food is monounsaturated fat, which is found in olive oil, avocados, and nuts. Monounsaturated fat helps to reduce unhealthy LDL cholesterol while raising levels of healthy HDL cholesterol.

Another type of healthy fat is polyunsaturated fat, which is found in fish, soybeans, and flaxseeds. Polyunsaturated fat helps to lower levels of harmful triglycerides in the blood.

Finally, omega-3 fatty acids are a type of polyunsaturated fat that has been shown to have numerous health benefits, including reducing inflammation and improving heart health. Including these healthy fats in your diet can help improve your health without worrying about gaining weight.

1. Avocados-

Avocados are leading the charge in healthy fat foods. Mother Nature’s butter, this fruit is a nutritional powerhouse. Because it’s rich and creamy, it may be eaten on its own, unlike butter.

There is no need to be afraid of avocado’s fats, but you should limit yourself to a quarter or half of an avocado every meal. A Food Function study found that oleic acid, monounsaturated fat in avocados, can reduce hunger pangs.

They also provide protein and fiber, which are lacking in butter.

2. Beans –

A great source of protein, fiber, and other nutrients, beans are a versatile food that can be used in various dishes.

3. Broccoli –

An excellent source of vitamins and minerals, broccoli is a healthy addition to any diet.

4. Brown rice –

A nutritious whole grain, brown rice is a healthy addition to any diet. To many, brown rice is a synonym for healthy eating. Brown rice is less processed than white rice because the hull, bran, and germ are still present. All that is taken away from brown rice is the hull (a tough protective coating), leaving behind the nutritious bran and germ. In contrast to white rice, which loses many healthy components during processing, brown rice keeps its vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

5. Brussels sprouts-

A nutrient-rich vegetable, Brussels sprouts are a healthy addition to any diet.

6. Cauliflower-

Another nutrient-rich vegetable, cauliflower, is a healthy addition to any diet. Cauliflower has a lot of health benefits, including being rich in vitamin C and a vital source of folate. It has no fat, no cholesterol, and very little sodium. As a bonus, a sixth of a medium head of cauliflower has only 25 calories.

7. Chicken –

A lean source of protein, chicken, is a healthy addition to any diet.

8. Salmon-

A rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, salmon is a healthy addition to any diet.

9. Spinach –

An excellent source of vitamins and minerals, spinach is a healthy addition to any diet.

10. Sweet potatoes-

Sweet potatoes are a nutritious root vegetable and healthy addition to any diet.

11. Grass-Fed Beef-

Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), trans fat that helps to enhance heart health and reduce belly fat, and stearic acid, a saturated fat that lowers LDL cholesterol, are two of the many good fats found in red meat. Grass-fed beef, on the other hand, is even better than what you’ve been eating.

A study published in Nutrition Journal indicated that grass-fed beef has higher levels of CLA and omega-3 fatty acids than corn-fed beef and lower levels of harmful palmitic acid. The natural leanness and lower calorie content of grass-fed meat make it a better choice for weight loss goals.

These are just a few of the many healthy fat foods that you can include in your diet. Eating various healthy foods is the best way to ensure you get all the nutrients your body needs. So, make a point to include these 11 healthy foods in your diet, and you’ll be on your way to good health!
